The seasons have changed and it’s getting a bit chillier, so it’s time for a couple coffee specials!

Both of these specials will end this Sunday the 2nd at midnight, so get your orders in for Monday shipping.

If you’d like to grab one of these specials for yourself, a friend, or as a gift, all you’ve got to do is email me jerry@killerbeans.com, please don’t forget to include you name, the address that you’d like the beans shipped to and a contact phone number. As always, I include an invoice with every order which is payable by check or money order, if you'd prefer to pay with a credit card I can do that as well...remember, I know where you live!

Spread the Word...Coffee is Food!!!

As a huge fan of the Peaberry, which of your other profiles do you think I would enjoy?

The Guatemalan would be my second choice for you.

(organic/shade grown) whole beans - dark roast - medium body
This shade grown coffee is characterized by a bold sweet aroma. The flavor is rich yet mellow with
excellent body. The beans are big, dark and oily. There are wonderful deep notes to the finish. You’re going to want even more after the first cup!

Today will be just fine in about 15 minutes.
You familiar with the Kalita Wave Pour Over? For the coffees I drink, I think it makes a bit more complex cup. More florals and fruits, less muddy. Only sort of con is that the filters aren't cheap.

Just looked it up. Pretty neat.

Do you have experience with the Chemex?

Do you have experience with the Chemex?
Yes I do. Only true "cone" filter I can think of. I think they offer completely different flavor profiles. The Chemex allows for more methods. The Kalita is very small. Keeps the bed very compact. I try different brewers with different beans to see if I favor one method over the other. For my tastes, the Kalita wins most of the time, with a French Press coming in 2nd due the sludge...which keeps extracting.

Awesome info.
Maybe when I get low on Chemex filters I'll pursue the Wave. Only 180 more brews before I'm out of the cone filters. :p
