Good luck. What they see as necessary differs from our perspective. Not a waste of money on the other hand, now that's almost plausible.

Here you go, Josh. A friend and I built a roll top desk using Koa wood. IMO, one of the most beautiful and exotic woods in the world.

Oh, I've had my eye on that Koa humi for months. There is this little part of me that thinks that is a really good idea......
The temp controlled unti also available is a great deal, and have thought about that one.

Don't know how to explain the purchase in the first place, but now that you got room, you can explain you need more sticks to fill it up so it will maintain humidity properly...you don't want a bunch of wasted space in there. Then when its full, you can explain that you need to upgrade to get more room. Three cycles into that and she won't give a shit about why you bought the first one.
