Just got my hands on this wood

I really didn't plan on building another humidor other than the one I'm on right now. Then this piece of Highly figured Maple called me out and made me do it. I'm running out of space so I figured what the heck. I'll do a step by step build of a desk top I'll be building using this piece of wood along with a piece of Gabon Ebony and a few others I picked up. I'll be starting it next weekend.

I couldn't resist :thumbs: The ebony is ugly right now. Jet black and covered in wax. Not for long though.

You're close, it's curly maple or tiger maple as some call it. :thumbs: Quilted is more of a pillow look.
