Just found a 60qt cooler...

So I am in the garage and I stumble across a 60qt igloo cooler that I totally forgot that I had. I am pumped and as soon as I move into the new house this baby will be fillin up quick. Approx how many boxes can one fit in a cooler of this size? Thanks

I have 24 boxes and bundles of various sizes and shapes in my 60qt. The dimensions of the cooler could effect this though. My cooler is an igloo boat cooler, it has a larger footprint then a standard cooler. I use mine just for storage. I only open it to check RH level. I smoke out of my humi cabinet and 2 desktops.

There is no simple rule on this. It depends on the brands of cigars and the size, shape and style of the boxes that you buy.

Always go bigger....But if you found it. USE it. Good luck.
 
I managed to tetris around 10 into my 50qt, although some of them were smaller sized boxes...coronas, pc, and such.
 
I have a 50 quart and I just filled it to the brim today! I have 17 boxes in there now, and a bundle of connies. Hope this helps a little. Take care and have fun filling it up! I know I have! :thumbs:

I was definitely not trying to be disrespectful. If that was how you took it I apologize. Although I was asking for some info on this size cooler for which I am unfamiliar, I do understand that it can fit more little things in it than big things. And when I thanked everyone for their input so far in my post, that included you too. No worries mate :)

Marcus is a good guy. :thumbs: I am certain he did not mean to be snide. Good to see him respond directly though. That's a very positive thing to do. I'd chalk up this misunderstanding to a weakness of typed conversations.
