I have been searching this for a couple of weeks now (great info here for it BTW) and i am thinking I'm going to be buying one this weekend to start the project. I wanted to get opinions from those who have one up and running, also on the one i am looking at.

The one i am looking at it's a dual zone Vinotemp, what i was thinking is i can keep singles in the top and boxes in the bottom. Does anyone know of problems with that or have anyone had problems with doing this?

I found one of these that has a bum display for $100, i really don't care about the display not working properly because i was planning on using another me accurate thermometer.

Any help before getting involved would be great, thanks.

For $100 you can't really go wrong. I wonder if you will need to get two temp controllers since it is dual zone.

From what i can tell by the pics and description i'm going to need at least two hygrometers and obviously beads in the top and bottom, it will be like caring for two differnt humis at once.

Why not go with the vinotemp from target? Its $150 on sale and a little bigger ( 28 bottle).

I'm using this and it is excellent. With the setup I have, I almost never have to add water and it stays at 67-67 pretty perfectly. Only thing to mention is that the measurements from my unit are about .5 inches smaller than vinotemps from non-target stores. IDK how this happened, but I don't care about it all that much, honestly.

Here is what i got, i'm picking it up this weekend so the project starts next week. Brand new and for just $100, so that will give me more money for beads and sticks to fill it. :whistling:

Nice... Good luck. I can't wait to see your next thread saying you are going to buy another because your first is maxed out. :D No matter what size they always seem to fill quick.
