I'm not going to do a long review on these. I smoked em while doing stuff and thoroughly enjoyed both.
The Oscuro was very surprisingly good. I was going to a BBQ and I brought soem cigars thinking it was goign to be an outdoor affair. It was mostly indoors with the chef cookign outside. I grabbed the stick to go "supervise the cook" and figured this was OK if the food was ready soon and I couldn't smoke it all.
Man was I wrong! This cigar was soooo good. Now I am not the world's foremost expert on cigars but IMO all the hype is absolutely true. It stacks up very well against the Opus Xs and Hemingway maddies of the world. If not for the price this would be a premium cigar without a doubt.
I smoked the Excalibur while puttering in my garage. It was quite good also with the flavor and strength staying quite steady throughout. At times there was uneven burning but it self corrected both times. Pretty much what I expected--a decent workhorse cigar.
