JR Ultimate #1 Oscuro

Pulled out one of these 7.25 x 54 monsters from a box that had two and a half years of age on it today. Very dark and oily wrapper with no veins present. The pre-light aroma was fantastic. Clipped the cigar with a straight cut, pre-light draw was very good, the tobacco taste was very rich.

After lighting it, received volumes of smoke with just the right effort. Medium to full body and flavor. Dead on burn with no corrections needed. Went well with the Kenyan AA coffee I was drinking.

I find the Ultimates are good right out of the box after you first get them, but improve dramatically if you let them sleep for a while longer.

Cool...how long did this bad boy burn? Like half the afternoon?

I lit it up when I was helping my friend at his cigar shop yesterday, so I had to set it down a few times when I was helping customers. Took about 3 hours to kill it. Normally I get about a 1 3/4 hours smoke from one of these.
