If you could get ISOMS what would you pick? Below are some of my favorites for compareing.

Anejo sharks
hemingways
partaga black label
partaga limited reserve
padron 64's
ashton vsg.
gurkha legends
gurkha centurions

usually medium bodied or medium to full.
Ive heard that por larranaga is good?

Also is it true that almost all ISOMS need age?

Thanks for any input.

NO*

NO*

*In MY OPINION ONLY, others will disagree.

I would suggest trying as many as you can and see what YOU like. For instance, many people like:

Montecristo
Romeo y Julieta
Hoyo de Monterrey
Bolivar
Cohiba
Trinidad
El Rey del Mundo
La Gloria Cubana
Cuaba
Partagas
Diplomaticos
Fonseca
Por Larranaga

but I would most likey never buy those (I'd NEVER turn one down as a gift :D )

The following are brands I like (and in this order):

Saint Luis Rey
San Cristobal de la Habana
Ramon Allones
Vegas Robaina
Quai d'Orsay
Quintero
Punch
H. Upmann
Rafael Gonzales
Sancho Panza
Juan Lopez

I like the Por Larranaga, you probably won't be able to find them at a decent price, except maybe the machine mades.

Habanos are good either very fresh (within a couple months) or after some age. Though I hear the 04s are smoking very nicely, I haven't had too many myself.

Partagas, Ramone Allones and Bolivar are all full bodied.
