Is there a way to save until your post is ready?

I was considering posting the build of my personal Humidor. Problem is that it has almost 100 pictures and I couldn't create it all at one time. I don't want to do it little bits at a time either. Is there a way to save it until it's done? My other question is, is a post with 100 pictures going to be a problem?

Save the text in a Word Doc...link the photo's after you cut and paste the text into here.

You can edit and add as you go or add a new post to the thread as it progresses.

I would post the photo's on something like photobucket and then link them...post a few...but talk to Rod about 100.

Why not just upload the pictures in an album here, then create a topic and link to your humidor album?

When I work on a post for more than one sitting.....I type it all out as a PM (to myself), then just save it under the "drafts" area.

When I'm ready to post it, I copy paste it to the forum area. Works well because the PM area has preview and such as well. So you can see if your links are working properly.

Make an album. You don't want to post 100 pics.....believe me. You can't do it in one or even 10 posts as the software won't let you so an album is the only way.

Thanks guys. I'd edit it down but this is the down and dirty of the build. Every step, weather I screwed up(and I did a few times) or not. It shows every step of what I did, how I fixed the screw ups, how I did screw up and how to overcome all the obstacles to get to the wonderful end. If a person has the tools, they could follow this step by step to build this humidor.

I cant wait!! I enjoy all of your works and am anxious to see how it all comes together!

I would advise signing up with picasa.com. If you have Picasa installed on your PC (it's free), you can upload photos to your Picasa Web Album. You can then put a caption on each photo. Just post the link when done. I have the policy set so you can't post anymore than 10 images in one post.

Looking forward to seeing the pics...

Thanks Rod. I just started figuring out Picturetrail. I'm still a little green with these sites to do this type of post. I'll check out Picasa and see if I can set it up. Thanks and nice to meet you.

Sure thing! Once our new forum launches, it will be much easier and user friendly. Stay tuned. :)

New forum huh, move to a different software by chance? phpBB maybe? Cant wait to see it.
