Last year a friend of mine gave me some homade Irish Cream and I really loved it. So, I wanted to pick up a couple bottles (Im not much at making anything) to give her (and 1 for me). Saw a bottle of Carolan's Irish Cream at half the price of Bailyes... any thoughts?

The wife drinks that stuff and she says the Carolans is just a little thinner than Baileys. We have both in the house. While not any cheaper you may want to look for the Bushmills Irish Cream just to be different. We had some of that early this year and it was pretty good.

This is some tasty irish cream!
Am personally a Baileys man, but was heading back from Ireland for Thanksgiving and they were handing out samples in the airport. And I must say it is pretty d@mn tasty. Def. worth a check out.

[tho on a side note am not sure if it is sold in the states yet, but check online]

Looks like Bushmills is avail at some online stores, so should be in the stores.

Thanks for the tips.

If you're an Irish Cream fan, if you ever come across it, I'd highly recommend this stuff called Sheridan's Layered Coffee Liqueur. You can't get it in the U.S. (I got it on a cruise) but there are some overseas websites you can order it from. It actually is two bottles "glued" together with two seperate pouring spouts. One side is a dark coffee liquer, and the other side is a white cream liqueur. They pour out at the same time and layer in the glass. Tasty stuff!

The Sheridan is some good stuff, I had some a few years ago when in the UK. It is hard to find during a quick search but it is available in Canada if you ever get up there.

Here is one of the few places that will ship it to the US but you'll pay about $60 delivered to get a $20 bottle of liqueur.

Yeah AVB, that's the only problem I've had when trying to find a place to order it from. Can't find it for less than $60. I bought my bottle on the boat for $22. I almost bought two, and now I really wish I had.
