I fired one of these up last night. It had sit in my humi for just over a month and this thread spark me to try it finally. Pre-light aroma was nice, but not mouth watering. Cut was ok since my guilotine wasn't sized for that ring, but the cap was rounded enough to still get a decent cut at the max size my cutter could handle.
I noticed what SMSU said about the thin wrapper as it started to burn. It also burned rather uneven, running down one side to start and coning afer that. Burn didn't even out until the last 1/3 or so. Draw was very loose for not much smoke on the first inch or so. Definitely less smoke than I expected. Bits of the thin wrapper would burn back, away from the cigar, then flutter off.
Flavor was not bad at all, but nothing that I would write home about either. I didn't pick out many subtle notes (either due to their absence or my preoccupation with the burn and draw) but it seemed a nice earthy/woody stick.
As for the size, I tend to chomp my bigger ring sticks and by 1/3 into this on the end was malleable (without loosing cap integrity, which is a plus) and felt as comfortable in my mouth as that large of a ring gauge can.
Burn 4
Draw 4-6
Flavor 6
Overall 5
I'd smoke one again, but probably wouldn't buy one again at full price (sale or cheap 5er possibly) and definitely not as a daily smoke.
