No experience, but I loved his gimmick. I think its a great idea for sales.

I've played Aliante, Rio Secco, Angel Park and have never seen these. Can't say that I've looked though as I bring my own usually.
 
Our local B&M here in the Twin Cities carries them, and I've got one in my travel humidor (Armored Humidor.) Works just great, but if I remember correctly, the tobacconist said it's more like 3 months, not 1 year.
