Hello Folks,
I have a chance to purchase what is said to be a Cuban humidor. The humidor has a Cuban coat of arms on the top and inside says dr. osvaldo dorticos torrado president of Cuba. On the inside top it says, su alteza real principe Bernardo which means his royal highness prince Bernardo. I have tried to find any info on any prince Bernardo visiting Cuba or president Torrado meeting said prince however I cant find anything and wanted to know if anyone has any information? If this is indeed an authentic Cuban diplomatic humidor I would like to buy it. The people selling it said it was purchased in the 1970's. Here are a few pics. Thanks folks and enjoy your cigars in good health.

They are asking $500 but would most likely take a bit less. Going to do a bit more research and go from there but never heard of president torrado or a prince Bernardo.

Difficult to tell from the photo what the base wood is, but I am getting the impression of birds eye maple. The inlay work is amazing, the interior corners are reinforced. And the is no photo of the bottom ( just saying ). There has to be somewhere to run the Coat of Arms and see what comes up. Wonderful piece. Would like to know what you find and what you decide.
