Hey yall,
The same gentleman i bought some cigars off of earlier this week has offered to sell me an Indulgence 500 count humi for $200. He is selling it to me with a Cigar Oasis XL and might get a few cigars with it. what do yall think about this deal?

1. Check the seal on lid and glass.
2. Pat yourself on back for good deal found/bad deal averted.

alright what are red flags to look for in regards to the actual seal and glass seal?

When you check it out bring a crisp dollar bill. When it's closed, try to slide the bill in between the wood where the lid shuts. If the bill loosely fits and you are able to easily slide it around the under side of the lid then the seal probably isn't the best. As for the glass, if you can wiggle it around then, well, you know.

Good advice...

I have this same humidor. Have had it for about three years and it holds steady humidity very well. The finish has held up as it is made of solid wood.

They come with the Oasis unit so if the humidor is very old (2 plus years) you will have to replace the water cartridge. (Look on fleabay)

I think the $200 might be on the high end of the spectrum for a used one. but if it has a good seal and you like it, buy it.

Oh yea, mine filled up way to quickly and had to add a winador, which is also filled. Thanks CP :D

Good luck.

Dave
