I received this cigar from jaewing in the Magical Mystery Hot Potato pass, and I almost did not want to smoke it because it looked so great: color was a rich, brown and the cigar is box-pressed. Pre-light had a very earthy scent, and when it burned, it had a deep, rich leather flavor, which did not translate into overbearing strength, which was another plus. It had a nice draw, and gave off loads of smoke, which was pleasant to watch as it wafted in the air.
Alas, the cigar had a very poor, uneven burn. At first, I attributed this to my own poor lighting skills, but a brief search for other reviews of the cigar suggest that this is a common problem with this stick. When I started the smoke, one side had about 1.5 cm on the other, and by the time it ended, the sides were about an inch and a half apart, and this was with constant attempts to relight the other side.
I don't think I'd consider this an everyday smoke, as the flavor was so rich, and the frustrations with keeping it lit evenly would get irritating. However, I will certainly smoke one of these again, and will try to get a good light from the start.
