I totally agree with cigarsarge on the going days without a cigar. If I want one I have one. Kind of like a sandwich, if I am in the mood I have one. Whatever.
On that note I find cigarette smoke disgusting. Cigar smoke has a complex a flavorful aroma, cigarettes smell like a tire fire. After discussing this with our local bar, they decided that we could smoke cigars there. Fun to win the argument every now and then.

Well said Tony. I can go days (and sometimes a week or more) without smoking a cigar, and feel no "have to have one" type feeling. At times where I haven't gotten to smoke in more than 4 or 5 days, the "want" is definitely there. "Need" and "want" are clearly distinguished in my life in regards to cigars. Let us define want as the pursuit of a pleasureable activity. This is what I tell people who are uneducated of my cigar smoking tendancies, and often assume that I'm some addicted nicotine fiend. My statements usually end with "When I smoke cigars, I do so becuase I WANT to, not because I need to."
I hope smoking bans like that of Washington never hit Missouri... ???
