Is anyone out there?????

I just arrived in Tampa today for a conference down at the Convention Center. I need some help from some fellow CPers down this way. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good smoke shop(s)? Also, is there a good place to smoke? Lastly, if anyone is available tomorrow or Wednesday evening, I would love to meet some BOTLs in real life.

There is a little shop in the Wyndham building where I work at 4890 W. Kennedy Blvd. It is a gift shop/cigar shop, but it is actually the retail outlet for Cammarata Cigars, one of the last to hand roll in Tampa. They have a walk in humidor with quite a nice selection, and all the usual accessories, lighters, ashtrays, humidors, t-shirts. They have Cohiba branded t-shirts and ashtrays, which I don't see too often. Talk to Jim there, it is either him or his Mom working. He is a master vigar blender, and she used to be a roller.

Or you could go to Thompson's. They are by the airport.

Well, if your in Tampa, downtown Tampa (Ybor City) is the place to go for cigars. You have King Corona, the Arturo Fuente Store and handful of other cigar stores to choose from between the two...... :thumbs:

Go to the Colombia Resturant. They have a roller in the gift shop there. The cigars he rolls are pretty good. :thumbs: If you eat there get the Cuban Sandwich...Veery tasty.
