In honor of a post in another topic regarding smoking more than collecting, I lit up a new cigar tonight that I had never tried before. I recieved this as part of a newbie trade. Here's some notes on what I thought...

Appearance and construction
Beautiful looking cigar. Flawless wrapper and just overall great looking construction. A very nice inital pull which lasted throughout the cigar. I was able to get a lot of smoke and no noticable tight spots or plugs. I also could taste just the right amount of oil on my lips from the wrapper as I puffed away.

Flavor
I didn't get any distinct flavors out of the cigar (probably more to my young palete). I think the biggest thing that came through was just how creamy and smooth the cigar tasted. I also appreciated just how consist the cigar was. The flavor I tasted with the first puff was what I tasted at the very end. The only difference was towards the end you could definitely tell the strength increase in the cigar. In my opinion that's how a cigar should be. The first half or so of the cigar was pretty mild. Then toward the end of the second half I got a bit more of a punch. This is by no means a full bodied cigar. I would say more mild to medium. Still a very very enoyable smoke.

Illusione cigars are awesome. I really like how Dion has been expanding to include the Cruzado's. I think that the F9 is one of my favorites out of the original lineup.

Yeah I could definitely see myself picking up at least a 5ers of the F9. It was pretty good.

Very nice review. I've yet to try the F9, but want to try one. If you enjoy the Illusione line up you should try the CG:4 and the 88, and if your really lucky try an eccj.

My favorite Illusione is the 88, but I can imagine they all are good. Good review Sirius

F9 is my first and only. I will definitely try and get my hands on the only you mentioned.
