Illusione Candela offerings

I just got in some more boxes of Illusione HL Candelas and 88 Candelas, but not too many. In case some of you didn't hear about it, Dion set out to prove that he can make a GOOD candela cigar. Some ppl asked me last time if I'd open up boxes, so here it is. I've got some 5 packs of both the HLs and the 88s in the candela wrapper. HLs are $48 for the fiver and the 88s are $44 for the fiver. I just grabbed some 88s. I was one of the ones asking for less than a box. Go read the reviews these two cigars have (there are a surprising amount online already!) as they seem to be pretty dang good, even for candela haters! Seems like a rare opportunity and Issy's about as standup as they come.

One of the most memorable smokes I ever had was a fairly dark Candela Wrapper. It was gifted to me by a doctor, about 20 yrs ago, who swore it was cuban, It was amazing.
I will probably try these.

Mine have arrived, but I'm letting them sit. I will say though, there are flavors in a candela wrapped cigar that you will never find anywhere else. I also understand there's a lot of junk sold out there with candela wrappers on them, which is sad. Cause if done right one could harness these original flavors without all the negatives associated with most candela cigars. I have high hopes for these.
