No I am not planning on giving my 2 year old a cigar.  We just found out that my wife is having another girl(sigh).  Good thing my shotgun is double barreled.  The due date is in mid April.

What I am looking for is a box of cigars to keep in my humi and only smoke one on her birthdays.  I am using my box of MC Slams for my oldest.  Then when they turn 18 if they want to join me for a cigar they are welcome to it.  My daughter already likes to stick her head in the humi and take a big sniff.

What I would like to find is a box of 25 in the $200 range, full flavored with a limited release.  CC and NC can both be considered.  Any good ideas out there?

I don't see any CC's that are limited or regionals match your request at the price. They will run 300-400. For a box of 25. Or some 10.

Being a CC is not a big requirement, don't even expect to find one that fits my price.  Just put it out there in case someone did know of something.  Main thing I really want is to be able to smoke something special on my girls birthday's that isn't something I can just go out and grab off the shelf somewhere.

First of all, congrats brother. You can go with a box of PL Encantos (CC). You can get a box right now on sale for about $250 for 25 cigars. It's an Asian RE thats freaking good and slowly becoming scarce. Or you can go with a regular production PL Petit Corona for about $240 for a cab of 50. These are not a limited release but a damn good regular production cigar especially with 5 years of age on them - pure caramel.

Most EL CC's come in boxes of ten. Some do come in dress boxes of 25 but a bit pricier.

Can't go wrong with Padron. You will enjoy seeing how they age.
Nope, can't go wrong there for sure.  Will keep an eye out for something that fits the bill.

I believe this is the one you are referring too? If so, definitely going on the hit list.

That's the one brother. PM me your addy and I will send you one to try.

No suggestions on a smoke but, one for your new daughters first date. Make sure you have every weapon you own in plain view, on a table, as the suitor comes through the door.
You'll be polishing that goose gun with a nice rag, as you ask him, "So, what time are you going to have my daughter home?".

Congratulations!

I've done something similar with my kids.  Padron 1926 Serie Maduro #2s for my oldest, Ashton VSG Belicosos for my three year old, and the baby has a box of Vegas Robaina Unicos.

The long-term aging potential of CCs is much better known than NCs, but don't let that deter you.  Many say Padron 1926s don't age well, but at six years, my oldest's box is doing fantastic.  That being said, well aged Cubans are amazing, and will certainly give you something memorable in the future.  I think the PL will fit the bill nicely.

Love it.  Will have to remember that in about 10-12 years.

Good to know.  If they do end up going south I will probably just smoke them off.  At least I have the bottle of Pappy Lot B I snagged just after she was born to share when she hits 21.  Planning on doing the same for the second born also.

Double thumbs up on the PL Encantos.  I just put a box down, they look and smell fantastic.  A great recommendation from Kris on a great cigar.  This is going to be one of those you wish you'd have bought a couple boxes of, to stash away.....

Agree 100 percent. I went deep on these, and have already been through a few boxes, they are really good now, and will be great soon...

I have two girls, myself; the older being 14.  First boy that shows up for a date is going to sit down and smoke an Opus BBMF with me.  Then I'm going to tell him to have fun and I can't wait to do this again the next time he comes over...

It may end up getting expensive, but I consider it an investment in my daughter's future.  ;)

So I was trying not to do this but I sprung for a box of the PLE before a taste.  I told my wife about the good reviews it gets here. Also the fact that every other place online has a price north of $600 instead of $252 sale price of unknown duration.  So she said it might be a good idea to get it.  I figure at worst if I don't like it I have some trading material.

Yes that should scare the hell out of him.  Just don't forget to let it slip that you are trained in the use of assault rifles.
