They have a CFCF Fun Box from 2009. I thought I'd just advertise that fact since they're a bit rare and a member might be interested. I think Mr. Peat is the only one truly mental enough to purchase one and since he's dropping off for health reasons, I'm not sure if this is valuable information but it was a hell of a thing to see one IRL. I think they want something like $1400 for it...

Dan...if you draw my name in the SS this year, you can just get this for me and save yourself all the needless research on what I'd like.... ;)

I guess they charge a hell of a premium for a couple years of aging.....

Sure thing... ???

The guy working said they'd make a deal on it though it was originally listed at $1400. I don't know what kind of a deal they have in mind though. $100 off isn't a lot.

Kid,
I was in the area of the Outlaw on Saturday as well. I didn't have time to stop by as I was on a different mission. My father was in St. Luke's South hospital just up the street from the Outlaw. As much downtime as I had Friday and Saturday sitting around his room, I didn't make it by. I have never been there, but sure would liked to have stopped!

It was great! I picked up a dozen sticks, taking advantage of the buy 3 get one free special they run during their parties. I stayed and watcehed Kansas State beat the Aggies in quadruple-overtime... awesome.

The fun box is actually one of two that we have had from 09, the other sold at our south location for a negotiated price. I personally don't know what that price was.
It's kind of a show piece, it creates "WOW" if you will. The set price isn't set to gouge it's more to deter sorta. Think of it this way, if you collected wine and had a really rare bottle that you knew no one had and someone offered you market value for it, would you take it? Chances are the answer would be a staunch NO. But if that person offered you an over the top amount of money for it would you part with it, knowing you could never replace it? Kinda depends on the individual and what he or she deems worthy of the sale.
With that in mind it is in a cigar store and it is for sale, so it comes down to cost vs. desire to own. The price is set as to what its worth to the overall value of the store as a collectable item and is not set in stone.
All offers made thru the store and NOT ON THIS SITE, would be considered. All offers would be finalized by the owner and no store employee.

Oh and a big thanks to those of you who made it to the La Flor Event!
