Outlaw thanks again for the great sticks.

This cigar has a lot of hype! I usually "dont believe the hype"...

The prelight aroma= excellent, I was like wow!

Construction= excellent, made to perfection.

Burn= perfect, nice slow burn and it was a cool burn till the very end. :p

Flavor= THis is a tough one, Complex to say the least. There was a smootheness all the way through. Each puff was an explosion of different hints. One of the most noticeable was a salt like flaovr mixed with a pure dark choclate notes.
As I smoked the cigar it stayed consitent. Power burst of flavor in every puff.
The cigar was full bodied but not overwhelming. This in no doubt a super fine cigar.

I smoked it to the nub like a joint. Savoring every last puff.

Over all= This is by far one of the best cigar I have smoked. The other was from the ISOM. My thoughts are this is a great cigar, but I think it might be over rated. I know some of you guys are going to say "newbie you dont know spit"
but there is a lot of hype with this cigar. Too much to were it is the most sought after cigar there is. I really think I would love a box of these bad boys but for the money and time and effort to find one it would not be worth it for me.
I have one more left and I am going to smoke it and take some serious notes.
Untill then boys.
One more thing Outlaw is the man, He kicked me down a few sticks. I am really gratefull to him.

That is my take

Sounds like you really enjoyed it. If you can find a tobacconist who will sell you more than a couple at a time, they are worth going after. MSRP on Opus is a lot more affordable than most of the other super premiums. Fuente Fuente for 9 bucks a pop makes me a buyer all day long.

Glad you got to try one...it is one hell of a smoke. I think you had the same experience I had, heard the hype and was expecting fireworks and fanfare when you lit it up. It's a great smoke that's more elusive than ohter brands, so there is a certain mystique about it.

The Pipe Puffer(across from the Greenwood Mall) has a good selection of Opus from $10-$15, depending on what you get. Also, they have the PAN 64 that you really should try. Last time I was there, I dropped $45 for an Opi Robusto, Beli, and a PAN 64 Torp.

The shop is worth the trip. Great selection.

An LG and looks like a petite robusto.

It was funny I had been looking to try one for about 3 weeks and could not find any.

The I get two gifed from CP and I friend mine hooked me with the corona all in one weekend . How cool is that

Rob I will check the piper puffer out, thanks
