I finally tracked down some moontrances

I'm taking off a day from work tomorrow to go to the U.S. Embassy in Münich to renew my Passport.

So I decided to search google to see if I can find any new cigar shops I haven't been in yet... and low and behold I found a nice one near the train station...

and they carry Moontrance! :love:

So sometime this weekend expect a review of the Wilkey Stick along with my long over-due Devil's Weed review.

I can send any size you want.......... thats half of what she has in HER humi, please take some, am really tired of taking care of these "Dog Rockets" even though i do like one once a year, it does help me appriciate real sticks. If you really want i'm sure there are a few Acid's on there

I walked into the shop (sporting my CP Herf t-shirt of course :D) (frigging NICE shop, make sure to visit it if your in Munich!) and the sales-lady was puffing on a SIGLO II... she saw how wore out I was and I explained that I had walked there from the Bahnhof since it looked so close on the map (close my ass I had to walk over 45 mins... ) She laughed and said I wasn't the first one to say that to her and that the new website is going to have instructions on which Streetcar to use to get there (only takes 10min and is how I went back to Bahnhof) and then she handed me a double espresso and one of their house-brand robustos (not bad at all for a 4 dollar cigar) to try for free to make up for it. So we sat at the lounge table and smoked and shared some small talk until we both had finished our cigars.

Then we walked into the large well maintained humidor and I walked over to the Moontrances.... She looked at me and said "For your wife?" And when I said, "No for me." she looked pretty appalled.

(BTW all the flavored cigars are in a sealed glass case inside the large humidor, I thought it was funny...) Then I explained to her the story of Wilkey and the purple cigar and how I felt I needed to try at least one to see what all the fuss was about.

I then and went and picked out a few other nice cigars to take home with me and we went to the register and what happened next made me laugh my ass off.

She took the 2 moonies and first hermetically sealed them in a small bag and then put them in a separate cigar box and then in a separate plastic bag from the other cigars I purchased. I looked at her and asked, "That bad huh?"

She said she hates flavored cigars but hey enough people smoke them to have her keep them in the shop.


So since tomorrow I'm only smoking primos in honor of Tom... I guess I'll break one of these bad boys out on Sunday and give it a whirl.... pray for me.

Yeah she was quite the SOTL, I'd herf with her any time.

I just saw your porn Wilkey :love: ... Now I didn't have enough gap for a box or cab... but I did pick up a few of the HdM Épicure Especial today.... they smell yummy.

Yeah they kinda sorta jumped right out at me as I walked over to the cuban section... she also had the Partagas Serie D No 2 Edicion Limitada for a good price so I grabbed one of those too.

Nice shop and I wish it was a lot closer to where I live.
