My low water alert was going off at least 2 times daily. Didnt need water couldnt figure it out.
So I decided to start over unplugged and disconnected every thing.Has been 3 days no alarm.
I guess it does matter what order you connect everything, just a fyi for other hydra owners

The other "annoyance" of these is that if the power goes out, you have to physically turn them back on.

The Cigar Oasis product I have is not this way.

This is why I stuff beads in all of the humis along with these supposedly automatic units.

I also have beads in mine

You didnt mention if you had just or recently recharged your beads with water when your alarm was going off.

I have found sometimes that if I have just recharged and have added a little too much water, and the beads rise over the lip of the cartridge (and possibly hit the fan and possibly too close the humidifier in the top) my alarm will sound.

Once I remove a few of the now water absorbed beads, the alarm stays off.

Just my expereience.
