If there is anything on your list that you can possibly get at Cheap Humidors now is the time to do it. Let us as a community help David Sabot with his contribution.
This is the letter I just recieved:
Avb, as I am sure you are aware, Hurricane Katrina
recently made its way through South Florida on a direct course to
Louisianna, Alabama, Mississippi, and various Gulf Coast cities.
When the storm came through South Florida, it made landfall about
20 miles due east of our offices. We were without power and phone
service for 4 days, the roads were littered with debris, and 7
people died.
While we were fortunate here, once the Hurricane left us, it
picked up strength and totally devistated the Gulf Coast states.
One of my closest friends, Jeff, and his entire family live in New
Orleans, about 10 minutes from the French Quarter. Thankfully they
are all safe, however the fate of their homes and businesses are
questionable at best. They had to evacuate and haven't been
allowed back to even see what is left of their stuff.
As a result of this catastrophy, I am doing what I can to help
relief efforts. I have made myself available to go to New Orleans
to help Jeff, his family, friends and neighbors dig themselves out
of this mess, and have dedicated the entire month of September to
the victims of the storm.
If you have the means, I encourage you to do what you can to help
out. You can donate to the Red Cross, give blood, or even drop off
canned food at many schools, libraries or hospitals.
For all sales at CheapHumidors.com for the month of September, we
will be donating up to $10,000 to relief efforts.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all effected. I just hope they
can get their lives back to normal soon.
My Warmest Regards,
David Sabot
