When you say "trying to develop a new humidor" do you mean you are trying to engineer one for retail or you bought one for your own personal use and are trying to figure out how to set it up?

I am engineering one. Currently in the R&D phase. If there is a market for it I may start selling them, otherwise I'll keep it all for myself

In that case I would become very good friends with the Search function here at CP. It will tell you all you need to know about what people like/dislike about humidors and the characteristics of them. Read, read and read some more and you'll be well on your way to developing a successful humidor.

Kinda sounds like you're looking into a pre-seasoned humidor that has a built-in electronic humidification device that you simply plug into a wall and never have to refill (which will be the hardest part).

I had the same issues. There were a couple answers that I wanted to but a range in, but I couldn't do it...
