Humidor problems

I was gifted a hammy down humidor, it holds about 50 sticks, Spanish ceder, glass top, pretty nice. The idea was to re-season it and use it for a few months till after I get married when the soon to be wife will let me spend some money on a bigger one. Well I re-seasoned it held right around 67-68% for around a week but now it stays right at 62% and 70 degrees F. Should I store the 15 or so sticks in a zip lock and re-season or am I being too picky?

From what I have read the more that you have in it the better it will hold humidity. I would fill it and monitor the RH, and adjust humidification accordingly.
