I have a pile o' crap humi box, but would still like to do a decent job running the power cord. Anyone have any pics or instructiones on how to do so properly? I'd like to know if they just seal it up with silicon, or use some type of cord grip, etc...

I know in the past I've seen comments of working with silicone caulk.
If you need any advice, ask Cigarstone, he's a pro at working with caulk.

Permagum or something similar. They use it in refridgerator manufacturing and HVAC. It works well and it's pretty cheap.

You can always cut the cord and splice it back together so keep any opening small.
