We live in a Raised Ranch with the ground floor completely finished. Upstairs is set for 67 between 8am and 10am and 4pm and 7pm. Downstairs has a fireplace insert so it’s at 60 all the time. If we know we’ll be spending time in the house it’s easy to just turn the temperature up rather than trying to remember to turn it down if you are not going to be around.
 
We are enjoy a gentle increase from 33° to 56° over the next five day, then the next Canadian chiller will come down and most of the Midwest to Austin and the upper part of Florida will receive ball busting colder than normal temps, and @CBoukal could see -20° or more. Some snow is predicted for the northeast.
