Any psychiatrists in this blog? Im wondering if its a sickness or normal behavior.Every day im checking on my cigars at least 30 times.I have 3 glass display humidors all located in one room and im addicted to cheking them out several times a day.My wife is laughing constantly, she thinks im developing some kind of stage of psychological downfall.I just cant help it,are you guys doing the same or its just me???Help

I check my humidors every week. Make sure the 70/70 is accurate and none of the cigars are too dry or too wet. In fact if your opening them too often you may release some of the humidity and your cigars wont really be at a 70/70 level since you cant stop opening the lid :p

Actually i dont open my humidors. They have glass display so i can see trought,i just go there and stare all the time.Personally i think that 70/70 deal is b.s.I keep cigars in room temperature not exceeding 73 and humidity between 64-67.Every humi has digital Western Caliber ll hygrometer.

30 Times a Day? Sheesh that is sort of on the spectrum.

Perhaps instead of trying to set the "Most threads started by a new member in one day" record, you should take a deep breath, and follow the advice given often on this forum:

Read more, post less.

If you'd use search you'd find that not only have most of your questions been answered before, but you may learn something in the process.

I just place my glass top humi in a location that I walk by it all the time. Then if I just happen to look, it doesn't seem like I went out of my way to look.

This is my way of making an obsessive habit seem not so osbsessive. I guess if a psychiatrist reads this, they might say I'm just in denial. But honestly, who gives a poop?

Cheers,
Chris

I thought about puting them in living room but somehow its the warmest room in the house and often temperature exceeds 75,so i got my humis in the coolest room.Plus wife would not allow big ass humidors in the living room. They like 250 ct each.

I really didn't need to see that....

Thank you very little.

I check 2-3 times a week, when I'm looking for what to smoke.
