I am running out of words to describe the cigars I am smoking. Ok no jokes from the old school guys, I smoke decent cigars.

Ok here is what I have

rich, earthy, nutty, woody, peppery, tangy, strong, leathery, spicy, smooth

please add

Thanks for helping me expand my vocab!

Don't describe...just enjoy. Words take the fun out of smoking.

Creamy, dirty, robust, herbal, aromatic, sweet, chewy(yes there is some smoke that is so thick that you can practically chew it!)....

Im sure more will come to me

Tobacco.

I personally find reviews that compare the taste of tobacco to shrubbery, lumber or one of the four food groups to be sophomoric and not really worth a whole lot.

I read a article about Carlos Fuente and how he never uses "food words" to describe cigars, just terms like "acidic", "sweet", etc.

Some of the food word reviews are definitely over the top, but VERY enjoyable. Check any of Moki's great reviews, or the guy who does MyCigarBlog.

Moki uses foods that I've never even tasted to describe cigars, so he's way too out there for me to follow. ;) I aspire to be so over the top.

And the MyCigarBlog guys reviews are down right sexual, demonstrating that there is a fine line between cigar porn and just plain porn!
