How close to Hygrometer

How close should my beads be to my hygrometer.If they are to close will it give a false reading.I used to have them pretty close to the hygrometer but have since moved it to the farthest point.Good idea?Thanks in advance.

Short answer is yes. Left to itself, air will not move inside a humi, large or small. In any sized humidor, humidity will be highest next to the source.

I think I will put them closest to my non-isoms.They are 65% beads.
