Thanks to ParaGod (big thanks), after a trade he and I did a while back, I'm now HOOKED on Bolivars. Anything Bolivar. I have to *make* myself smoke something else when I open the humi (unless I happen to have a Short Story on hand).

Just thought I'd mention it, as a half-smoked one (clipped off the burning end at the end of my smoke break) is staring at me and begging me to take another break. :)

ISOMs or doms? I haven't had any of the domestics, but there is some rumbling about the fuerte's here and there.

Dom's.

I've loved the one and only Bolivar ISOM I've smoked as well, though. :)

I'll toss a few your way after we move ... for the most part, my smokes are all packed up and ready to head to their new home.

If only we knew when that would be ;)

Charlie, I'm counting on that being TODAY for cryin' out loud!! :D

I know what you mean about being hooked on a brand, that's the way I am with the Olivas right now. I agree that domestic Bolivars are a great cigar as well, they are extremely affordable but you know me, I tend to like stronger cigars than the domestic Bolivars which are considered a mild to medium cigar.

Call your attorney RIGHT NOW and that real estate broker and demand that you CLOSE TODAY!!!

The Bolivar Fuertes are pretty spicey. I only smoke the Petites as they are pretty loaded with nicotien.

i do not think i have tried the domestic ones.
i do love the ISOM Bolivars a lot though.

The few domestic Boli's I had tasted good but burned terribly. Hopefully, the ISOM BBF's will be much better. :)

The Bolivar Fuerte in the Cuban Corona size is a very good cigar.

I'm a Bolivar Habana whore. Just got a cab of the Coronas Gigante and the BBF (3/03). Excellent!

BBF are one of my all time favorites. I have yet to try the CG. There is nothing quite like the sight of a Bolivar cabinet (to me anyway). All that unbanded goodness just sitting there looking like a cigar, when really it's a smoke.

I too share the affliction of loving those BBF's But if your limited to the Dom's
The new Bolivar SRO (double maduro) in the "A" size is a GREAT cigar.
The CG are just that much more of a cigar.. As that Chef ON TV says Kick it up a Notch! Bamm!

I have tried every size and the A seems to have a similar charitoristics to the Cuban Cororona mentioned by shadow...

I just bought a box of the Bolivar Fuerte SRO's (size C... that's right, I'm pansy

). Anyway, I did a search to see if they have been discussed.

Delicious cigar. Low price. Recommended!

I really enjoy the Bolivars myself. In particular, I'm fond of the Fuertes in the Cuban Coronas and the sun ripened oscuros Keep an eye out as JR Cigars seems to routine put them on sale. Its too bad you didn't stumble upon them a few weeks back because JR had a pretty large sample on sale that was a good variety of sizes and it was fairly cheap. ???

That was a good deal, sold out in ~2 days.

My most frequent smoke is the Bolivar Fuerte Petite Maduro. Damn tasty.
