Holiday Herf

December 19,2007 will be the last monthly herf at the Howard House in Elkton Maryland due to the "Workplace Smoking Ban" to be startrd in 1/2008. Also it will be our first holiday herf.

What I'm thinking is doing a sort of round robin where you put your favorite smoke in the box and blindly pick one. Since it will be hard to police puts and takes, please no isoms, rare, or very expensive cigar. Also no dog rockets. Please be fair as most brothers will contribute a nice stick.

Since a lot of the guy's don't know what value to value means, don't put in a $10 stick and get mad when you recieve a $5 stick.

Sounds like fun, but I cant make it.

If I am correct the smoking ban was not something O'Malley did (even though I dislike the guy). He did have something to do with it in Baltimore City though...

Really, really sucks. Now there is no indoor place withing easy driving distance to smoke.

We'll have to ask HH on the 19th.

Really, really sucks. Now there is no indoor place withing easy driving distance to smoke.

When I first heard about this, the "Disruption of Our Pursuit of Happiness" has been the end of Feb, then the end of Jan, and now the end of the year.

We'll just have to found a Cigar Lounge. Make it a store and have some small, but tastefull and popular cigars in stock. But it's primary purpose would be as a Cigar Lounge.

I think the ban starts in Jan but enforcement statrs in Feb to give the bars a chance to "ease" into it. They did the same thing in Philly last year I think

A couple people did!! And not for the lack of sticks either!!

It was great to see everyone again. Next month it will be moved to another location, to be announced at a later date but The Herf Must Go On!!!!
