I found a new brewery 10 minutes from my house that I didn't know existed. Their beer selection was superior compared to 90% of "local breweries". The food was unique and tasty.

But this is what caught my eye! There were about 15 of these units on the patio and people were enjoying dinner and drinks in lightweight clothing.

As @jfields John said "I gotta get me one of those"

I have no idea what they cost, or what a Hobo Hut" costs, but these things were sweet!

What is the ventilation like?

It's double-walled and there are zip windows.

Michigan is full of those things! No shit, I can count at least 10 from my memory in about a 3 square mile area near me. Holdover for COVID stuff around here.

The bad asses just rented big ass party tents and put electric heat up in them though haha.

I had the same idea the first time I seen these things, Last I checked they were about 800. A green house kit is cheaper for the same effect.

I immediately started looking for something like this for my deck to rival @H. Vachon Hayden's hobo hut and I keep coming back to durability in wind. The geodesic can't be beat. I'm afraid I'd go to bed and wake up to find the greenhouse gone.

Well I would love to see it when you get one.

If I can have an outdoor fire while being out of rain or blizzard, and comfy warm ........ I win!
If you can make it work, you’ll have no excuse not to join the Saturday herf! And if when you realize the hobo hut is the unmatched ultimate
smoking experience, we will gladly welcome you to our Hooverville.

I wish I had a picture of my dads converted ice shanty or whatever it is was that was used as a outhouse for deer camp in the UP. That might just outmatch the hobo hut ….maybe not in form…but function. ;) haha
