Ho Ho Ho Christmas is here and daddy is smoking

Well as most of you know I am a stay at home dad and even though I stay at home it is a full time job!! Today my wonderful wife let me dabble in some 15yr Macallan and enjoy a fine cigar. I have never had the pleasure of enjoying scotch, until I became a member of CP and had the opportunity to read AVB scotch reviews. Thanks AVB for introducing me to the exciting world of fine scotch. So the day started out as it always does, cleaning poopie diapers and doing laundry. Then, sometime around lunch the wife took over and I went outside with three fingers of scotch and a Cohiba Genios maduro 5!

Wow, this cigar has had a couple of months to rest and today it was smoked! It had very rich flavors; I noticed that grassy, cocoa flavor found in many ISOM cigars. Note that the peat in the scotch was a prefect match with this cigar, the vanilla in the Macallan sat on the tip of my palate the whole cigar! This in my opinion was an all around top notch cigar. I can’t wait to revisit this cigar in about a year! Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!! :thumbs:

Good times! The wife and I were waiting until one of us made "enough money" so one of us could stay home and raise a child. That was not happening fast enough for the mother in law so she offered to retire to provide daycare. Since then my wife has taken a new job that gives her no time off for the first year so I am the one who stays home to take care of our daughter when things happen. Taking care of a child is WAY more work than a silly job. (And far more important. ) Congratulations.

Sweet smoke! :thumbs: I had one when i finished finals. Was an awesome smoke. Too bad the price tag is a little steep for such a small smoke. :angry:
