There are some AF Hemmingway Classics and Signatures in Maduro available and the proprieter wants $260.00 and $250.00 respectively. I just don't watch these close enough to know if they are A. Somewhat rare in the Maduro version and B. Priced too high.

Any help is appreciated.

$260 for the Classic Maduros is as cheap as I've seen them. Perhaps others can get them for less but I can't.

I dunno, that's about 100.00 over retail on each box. I wouldn't buy those.

Yes, they are pretty rare. I seem to find the classic maduros more often than the signatures. Retail on the regular line is around $155 for the signature and $180 for the classic. You can find them cheaper on-line. As for the maduros, that is a pretty steep mark-up for rarity. Even my overpriced B&T retailer here in C'ville only marks them up an extra dollar (he retails the classic maduro for around $200 a box). Just my 0.02.

Those prices are high. They should sell at the same MSRP as the regular Hemingways. The maduro version is released around Christmas time every year.

A reasonable (slight premium) price to pay for these cigars is:

Hemingway Classic Maduros: $193 + tax
Hemingway Singature Maduros: $171 + tax

(keep in mind that depending on the tobacco tax in your state, the prices your vendor may be offering may actually be reasonable)
