Cigar: Hemingway Best Seller Natural 5.00 x 43
Pre-light: Nice looking and well constructed, my first time with a figurado of this shape. Simple punch cut, with good pre-light taste and draw. Accompanied by a Burning River from GLB.
First-Third: Was a little concerned about the correct way to toast the foot, but things went fairly well. First taste was that of a spicy leather with a some what sweet undertone. Very, Very enjoyable.
Second-Third: The leather notes seemed to drop off as spice picked up, added were notes of cedar. There were slight burn problems, most likely due, yet again, to my poor light.
Last-Third: Settled down into a slightly spice cappuccino flavor. Very, Very Nice.
Conclusion: Quite possible my second favorite cigar to date. Volumes of white fluffy smoke were astounding and draw was perfect. Once I get my vino-temp up and running I could easily see this as a box buy item. The price is just about right for it to surpass the Padron X000's series as my go to smoke.
Small Stem in middle of punch cut reminded me of a Bullseye, which was what this cigar was.
A special thanks goes out to chainer for reminding me of the Macro feature on camera, thus making pics much better
