hello all, I'm a college student and very new to cigars in general.

I'm making a tupperdor and not having very much money, I was was wondering if this would work for checking my humidity settings.

Welcome to the board!

From one college student to the next, go to RadioShack and get one of their small digital hygrometers. I think they're like $20 but they are worth it

Yeah, you'ld be better of going with a digital read out versus the old anolog version..... :)

Sounds like it would be a great short-term solution. Then check out the diggy hygrometers when you can later on. :)

I ended up getting the radioshack hygrometer and seems to work great. Thanks for the advice!

I picked up 2 of them when they had the 1/2 off coupons. :D

Salt tested them and they were both sitting on 74%.

Good enough for government work. :sign:

When you're ready for an upgrade, you can get. . .
