Hi, I am Sami and i am new to this forum. I have a pipe i got from my grandfather. It is an old pipe, probably from the sixties', but i can't see it's manufacturer properly. It looks like "BEPSQI" (below it "ITALIAN MADE" i think), but i haven't found any record of such pipe anywhere. I have tried altering the letters (like Bepsoi, Bepsol, Bepson, etc.) without results.
So yeah, i've got a pipe. But i have a few questions. I've been smoking for about a month now. Still i haven't found much information on exactly HOW to smoke pipe. I read from this forum that one should take a couple gentle draws per minute. Is this so? Will not the fire die? I can pack my pipe properly, and light it and so on, but after the first few draws the smoke tastes bitter and ashy (does not burn my tongue though). I can't really "taste" my tobacco. I have Amphora Full Aroma and Mac Baren Original Choice (i know, those are pretty poor kiosk-grade tobaccos, but they don't sell others in R-Kiosks here in Finland. Except for those low-grade factorytobaccos.), but i haven't got anything from them. They taste a bit like coffee though. What would you recommend? I want something with a kick. The only downside is that i am sixteen years old, and they don't sell minors tobacco in markets. Only in kiosks, in which they occasionally ask for papers. Actually, i don't mind that they don't sell for minors, as they don't have anything to sell. Nowadays people gotta' order good tobacco online, at least in Finland. We have a couple of importers here, but they don't sell for minors, as you can guess :D
Also, how moist should the tobacco be? I know some prefer very moist and others very dry. What about the middle-road? I have Mac Baren O.C in it's original pack, and i store the package in my left ass-side pocket (pardon me, i totally forgot the right name of the pocket). Amphora F.A i store in an air-tight jar, and i have included 12 oxy-removers there (i acquired them from beef jerky -snack packs). I don't want my tobacco to live on it's own.

Send a PM to robbiex0r. He should be able to help.

I think we do Alan. Sami, I hope you understand, but I simply couldn't, in good conscience, recommend tobacco to a 16 year old. I would advise revisiting CP when you turn 18 and can legally purchase tobacco. I'd be happy to offer you recommendations at that time.
