Hello. Can anyone offer any information of this Dupont Lighter please

Hi guys.  I am new here so please accept my sincere apologises if I am posting in the wrong section.
 
I stumbled upon this site, when trying to dicover some information about a lighter which belonged to my grandmother. I have read a lot, but clearly have no idea what is true or not.
 
I will up load a couple of photographs and would be very grateful for all the information anyone may care to give.

I contacted Dupont directly when I had a question. They have some resources on older items.

Get the serial number off the bottom and send it to St Dupont. They should be able to tell you more.
 
It looks like the one I have - from the 80's.
Although mine is blue laq.
 
It's likely gold plated.
 
Probably the $100-150(retail) range - they can be found at yard sales for less....online $50-75.
Still, check the model with St Dupont - they won't give you prices, just the model/era.

Yea. I get those damn scam phone calls all the time. I just recite an edited version of the "phone scene" from "Taken".
