Heartfelt beads question

I got some heartfelt beads along with one of their nylon bags to place them in. Is it ok to just place this bag right on the cedar or should I put something between the bag and the wood like some plastic? I was just wondering if the wood would adsorb moisture out of the beads, causing damage to the wood.

Sorry if this has been asked and answered, but I've searched around and know everything about these beads except this it seems.

Seriously though, this should cause no ill effect because the beads and the wood are at the same RH. Just be sure they are not too wet (70% of the beads clear).

Right on the cedar is fine. The cedar is supposed to absorb moisture ...

The beads nor the bag should not be so moist that you should worry about the wood if the bag touches it. After I mist the beads with a spray bottle, I gently wipe the exterior of the bag to remove any surface moisture.

I wouldn't put them directly up against my naked cigars but against the wood should be no issue if properly filled.

Laying the bag on the cedar is fine. I have a couple of my humidors set up like that.
