 Can't they at least wait till Thanksgiving is over?

In our area the German stores start selling the chocolate santas in Sept now, it kinda makes me ill everytime I see it.

Anyone else see any christmas stuff already?

I was in the mall about two weeks ago, and it's already decorated for Christmas. Can't believe it, Thanksgiving isn't even here yet, and Christmas decorations are being displayed. Some people are already putting up lights on their homes around here as well.

Maybe it's because time goes by too fast, more and more people are trying to make Christmas last longer. Who knows...

Local station here started playing Christmas music about 2 weeks ago.

Bah, Humbug!

My mall here is already decorated for Christmas aswell. It doesn't really bother me much since I enjoy the Christmas holiday and like seeing all of the decorations. :)

I knew it was bad when I started seeing the Halloween decorations back in July. At this rate, come the first of December, we'll start seeing chocolate Easter bunnies and Cadbury eggs.

Santa has been at the mall here since Nov. 3rd. It's getting earlier and earlier every year. My mom starts listening to Christmas music in September every year, but refuses to put up a tree until after Thanksgiving. Go figure...

In good ol' Cali it has been christmas since halloween. Music, decorations, etc......AHHHH Tis the season ???

Local stations are holding out until 12:01 day after thanksgiving to pound us with 24-7 christmas music until 12:01 day after christmas.

I love christmas more than any other holiday in the year... but for the love all that is holy and pure, can we get some new music?!?

There's some Christmas music that I simply cannot hear another time, but one that I never tire of, year, after year, after year, after year, ever since I was a kid, is Bing's Christmas lp. Bing's, Nat's, and Frank's two lp's as well. Those, I keep as constant companions each and every Christmas and Noche Buena (for the rest of the Cubans here).

I can relate. I work at Lowe's and we have had our Christmas decor out for about two weeks now. This is about two weeks earlier than we set it last year I believe, so it is getting earlier and earlier. However the Muzak that plays overhead hasn't started playing Christmas songs. That will be on Black Friday.

AOL has the xmas stations since a week ago added to the aol radio. Decorations already in all of the malls. Love xmas but it is getting earlier and earlier each year.

I started seeing Christmas decorations at Cracker Barrel before Halloween! I'm just waiting to see the Christmas decorations for next year starting before the New Year, then I know we are in trouble!

Yeah,
at our local BJs supermegaplex, I've seen the snoring Santa since before Halloween!

As far as hearing Xmas songs, I can't stand certain ones. One Voice Was Heard (by some little kid whos name I can't remember) sends me into a Yuletide rage anytime I hear it. Nothing worse than having a kid singing some sappy song over and over again.

Merry Xmas everyone... now get out and SPEND!!!

this is all really sad, but i love those christmas sales! :D

Christams starts earlier and earlier every year. The mall here has santa already, the music started about a week ago :( I love christmas too - but one holiday at a time!

Soon they're just gonna combine thanksgiving with Halloween, so there wont be any interuptions for the christmas season :)

Our local wally world has had christmas stuff out since halloween and has been playing the music ever since....

Bahumbug!!

Give it a few more years, and they'll be rolling the stuff out right after the 4th of July!

Thought of this thread last night...as here in South Florida...Coral Gables to be precise, they had the Christmas tree lightning ceremony at Merrick Park last night. :D

Enjoy it while it lasts, If some people get their way, within the next couple years we're not gonna know what Christmas is. Happy Holidays! :(

If it's bad enough...I'm moving the week before Christmas.
