Hoyo du Depute 12-98 FR-NISU
4 3/8x38
I just went through about 7 of them from a group buy. The wrapper is a rough and "unfinished" dark brown leaf. The construction is pretty decent. The bunching is good and the pre-light is fairly tight. It opens up a good bit as it is smoked. The burn is fairly even, never requiring a touch up. It burned on the hot side, but I do herf the little guys faster because I want short smokes to be short. LOL...
The taste is decent. A fairly dry tasting smoke which has a decent linger on the palate. I guess I am not a fan of this cigar. Dont get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with it. But it wont be added to my rotation. On an up note, I do not believe these have hit their peak. There is plenty of flavor and strength left. Maybe your cup o' tea, but not mine because they didn't seem to have the twang I look for in Habana's.
Give them a shot if you like the "Le Hoyo" series...
