about a year ago, I posted a thread about our first monthy Herf we have with they guys here at work. Well a year has past and we are still going strong. I'm proud to say we had a Herf every month!
First Herf Thread
I supplied the cigars for our special one year event, the ever tasty Padron 40th Anniversary Natural!!!
Some pictures of the event!!
Our Hooters Girl, Heidi....mmmmmm heidi
Joel gets the Trooper award. He got 2 of the Padrons and when left unattended at his house for a few minutes, his young kitten got ahold of them and tore them up pretty good. the picture didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, but the cigar was pretty beat up, but he still enjoyed it!
A group shot. Billy, who is seen in the yellow shirt quickly ran and found a place to sit down after this picture was taken....not sure why :whistling:
Right before the ash dropped...mmmmm Padron
For this special event, awards were even presented. Here is Doug presenting Dave with the Cigar newcomer of the year award!
Proud Dave with his plaque
This one was great!! Its the "Dog ate my homework" award presented to the guy with the lamest excuses for not showing up to Herfs. He of course was not present to accept his award, but we Gorilla Glued it to his desk the next day.
Yours truly was presented an award as well. It was a co-award given to Billy and Myself. We received the "Perfect Herfer" award. Given for perfect attendance to the herfs and doing our part to organize and plan them.
It was a great year of herfing! We all had a good time, a lot of laughs, and definitely kept the spirit of good friends, good beer, and good cigars alive! I look forward to posting pictures of the 2nd Year anniversary!
