Although I appreciate the positive outlook, I don't ever want to get to that point.😁

Right now, it seems I lose focus for a millisecond, long enough to let the clubhead get in the wrong slot at the top; this could also be the result of a pinched nerve. But the memory comes flooding back when I look up and don't see my ball, or see it tailing off just at the outer range of my peripheral vision.

What it did show was severe arthritis in the neck and base of skull which "could" effect my ability to concentrate, focus, and my memory. Now we have to figure out if anything can be done about it.

I guess this means you aren't flying into Omaha this weekend to get my son ready for his golf tournament?

I wish I could!

I am playing in a 3 day tournament this weekend, which I paid for last year, or I wouldn't be going. Until I can get some of this stuff figured out, I won't be playing in any fee based events.
 
This is a great forum post. Didn't even know this existed. Great idea.

I celebrated 21 years of marriage to my wife a couple weeks ago. I feel like that is a big milestone.

My dad has pancreatic cancer. We found out a few months ago. Very aggressive. it was also wrapped around a major artery from the liver, so they couldn't just cut it away, or he'd bleed to death. He went through 3 months of hell with Chemo. They didn't see the tumor shrinking, but decided to take him into operation anyways. If they liked what they saw, they'd go ahead with a pretty radical procedure called Whipple surgery. If they didn't like what they saw, they'd sew him back up. Then it would just be a matter of time.

They realized that even though the tumor didn't shrink, the Chemo killed about 95% of the cancer. So they were able to do the surgery, and actually slice away the tumor all the way to the artery. The surgeon said she has never had a surgery go so well before.

He is now recovering and doing pretty good. Outlook is pretty positive at this point.

Sorry for the long post, but I've been pretty stressed out lately about my dad, and this was really good news.

Miracles happen for a reason. You just got a new lease on life with yer dad. Slap a big ol hug on him, tell him ya love him and live every day like it's his last. You'll NEVER regret it. I'm truly happy for ya.

Spent most of the weekend finally moving back into my house, after being out of it for a year and a few days. It's not completed but it's livable for the time being. Insurance company has finally approved the supplement so once I get that check I should be on track to getting the final major projects done.

Edit: need to learn to proof read.
