Yes the rumours are true. Since I've moved to the new house I live barely 5 minutes away from my buddy Jabba. Popped over his place this afternoon for a pre-birthday celebration (Jabba's b-day is Sunday)
He wanted me to try a smoke I've never had before to see if I would like it. In his little experiment he removed the bands so I wouldn't have any preconceived notions of what the cigar would be like.
Cigar was very smooth and wasn't at all overpowering. Nice pre-dinner smoke. I guessed it was Dominican (which was about all my limited smoking ability could do) Turns out it was a Montesino.
