I've been busy today lol. I'm gunna make a short reviews of each and let you know my thoughts.
1# Corona Club Troya
This cigar had a rough wrapper, and a not so pleasant aroma. It burned evenly and tasted pretty good, IMHO. I give it a B+
2# Fuente Fuente Opus X
What can I say. Tasted just like any other opus. Although, for some reason, keep having to fight it to stay lit, so I give it a B-
3# Ashton Churchill
This was the first cigar I ever really loved. It was the classic white band ashton, and still just as good as I remebered it. I nubbed it. I've never had a bad ashton, and they always have a great taste. I was told by OpusXFiles aka rob, that it smelled great. I give it an A
4# La Aurora Preferido Blue Tube
This cigar was gifted to me by EShaw99 aka Eric, and I've been holding out on it since December or so. It burned awesome, and just tasted great. I had a small chip of wrapper missing, and it kinda got hot at the end. Out of all the preferidos, this would be my favorite, and the red tube would be number one. I give her a A-
5# Forbidden Opus X (From the new dvd set)
Whoa. First off, it smells like a regular opus. It was pulled fresh out of the tube and looked just awesome. Had a nice oily wrapper (I think they call this toothy ???) and not one flaw on the wrapper. I sparked it up with the cedar from the tube and just let the flavor hit me. It was very smooth and noticeably mild compared to a regular opus. It wasn't a bad mild. It burned pretty damn good, I did one little touch up, but it didn't even really need it. The aroma was awesome, smelled like a champ. The different tastes and notes through out the cigar are too many to discribe. The biggest thing I noticed was toward the end and it was a nutty flavor. I smoked it as far down as I could possibly could and laid it to rest. This was one of the best cigars I have ever had. she gets an A+
6# PAM 40th Annie
Me and Rob ordered some of these a couple of weeks ago, and he's been giving me hell to smoke it ever since. We all met up to play poker tonight so I thought, why not. It didn't have the usual strong taste that I get from the regular PAM 26 line. It was awesome. I tasted strong cedar notes in the cigar and also noticed it burned very well through out. The ash, I did notice, was a little weak, and that kinda let me down. I did have to re-cut it because it was a tight draw at first but the draw was great after that. I give it a B+
7# PAN 64, I forget the size
I smoked this one at the end of the night and was honestly getting dizzy from all the cigars I'd smoked in the past hours. I put it down early but it was just like any other PAN 64 I ever had. Which means great. I won't give it a rating since I didn't finish it.
Now you all know what cigar shop keepers do on their days off. What did you guys do?
