A friend first turned me on to the Cabinet Selection a few months ago and I've been delighted every time I've smoked one, especially the one from
H. Upmann.

I smoked a toro and personally feel this cigar is light-bodied, given the Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, but as it began to develop I could feel a strong medium-bodied cigar emerge. Initially the flavors were sweet and creamy and as it began to get toward the end there was a leathery tone that completed the cigar. The ash held about an inch and a quarter and the construction is great, though the way they pack the cigars in their boxes may put them at risk of small scratches or tears, so be careful which one you pick out.

Altadis also makes a few others in the Cabinet Selection; Montecristo, Por Larranaga and Romeo Y Julieta. Those are the ones I'm aware of though they quite possibly may make more. I've only tried the Upmann and Romeo, but the Upmann is astounding if you're looking for a great light to medium bodied smoke. Even if you're not a fan of the aforementioned brands, I still would say give 'em a try because you may be delightfully surprised in the Cabinet Selection. It's a great afternoon stick if you're just relaxing on the patio on a warm Spring Day. Two thumbs way up!
