I stopped in a small cigar shop on my way home from work, looking for a short smoke for the ride.
Was hoping they had some Short Stories, but they were out (hoping to get some in by Friday).
Looking around, I found the Gurkha Master’s Select Perfecto #3 (4” x 52).
Not having tried a Gurkha before I decided picked it up.
Clipped it and lit it up. Man, what a nice little cigar. A medium strength cigar that produced lots of smoke.
The draw was a little loose though. It was smooth in the beginning and got spicy toward the end (liked that). It did get a little hot as I nubbed it.
The only drawback was that it ran like a thief. I had to keep touching it up till the end (kind of a pain while you're driving).
All in all, a great 25 minute smoke. It was a little pricy though at almost 8 dollars for the stick.
